Photo by Tom Parsons, “My girlfriend and I live near Baltimore, but we've had a vacation home on the Bay River for a couple of years. We're ready to make it our full-time home in a few months.

This photo is just one example of the many beautiful sunsets we see from our dock on the Bay River, near Mesic.”

Fun fact about this photo...Wyatt Taylor, I believe, was the founder of the camps, and my grandmother, being close to him, named her youngest son after him. Her youngest son is the man holding his grandson in the pic...Both named Wyatt Taylor.”

Photo by Daniel Schlueter, “‘Work the dock’...is on South Creek off the Pamlico on my parcel. Crystal & I own 5 empty parcels on Hickory point and intend to keep them as a nature preserve or perhaps rustic camping site. The parcel has 600+ ft of marsh frontage, as well as 8+ acres of mature woods. It is our hope to eventually retire there after we finish our teaching careers. We currently live in southern Maryland, near the Chesapeake Bay, and enjoy trails, kayaking, and Colonial reenacting.”
