Photo by Emily Greenberg. Emily attended the Celebration of Life ceremony for Melinda Penkava-Smith at Lou Mac Park in Oriental last weekend. "Melinda inspired me on multiple levels, as a journalist, a sailor, a woman, and as a disability advocate. Rest in power."

Photo by Chris Mojica. Chris, a resident of Pamlico County, traveled to Dayton, Ohio, to see the full solar eclipse last Monday. “I captured the totality of the April 8th solar eclipse beside the Hoffmann Prairie Field Flight Museum using a ZWO Seester S50 smart telescope.”
