The Village Gallery welcomes Kevin Fetzer as March’s Guest Artist of the Month. There will be an Artist’s Reception at the gallery from 2 – 5p, featuring Kevin and his work.

Oriental’s History Museum honors the men and women from Oriental who served in WWII with a new exhibit running March 11 - July 30

Oriental Dragon Burn, Red Rooster, A dragon effigy is constructed behind the Red Rooster Bar (located behind the Silos Restaurant). Viewers gather to eat, drink, and listen to music beginning at 5 p.m. This is a ticketed event and membership drive. $25 for individuals, or $50 gets you and your family in the gate and signed as a member for the Pamlico County Arts Council. (Arapahoe Charter School student Jenna Walker has artwork selected to represent the Dragon Burn on promotional t-shirts)
The Oriental Woman’s Club’s 2022 Chowder Cook-off, at the Oriental Marina Harbor. Music this year is from Hoff n Finch. $10 ticket gets you a chance to taste different kinds of chowders and vote for your fave to win the People’s Choice Award. It’s a fundraiser for OWC’s charitable works & community service, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
