Thank you for reading Down in the County. My hope is that this weekly publication brings the people of our community closer together and gives us a place to record the history of our beautiful and diverse county.

This year we have grown the Snapshots photojournalism program for young people through YNTO (Youth Navigating Toward Opportunity) while continuing unique visual storytelling and providing event updates and important resources. In 2024, I hope to dive more into the history of the county and explore some of the wonderful curiosities you have brought to my attention—there is so much to learn and report.
